Assessment

Library Exhibitions support three student learning outcomes, each of which map to the Library’s Program Learning Outcomes:

1. Students locate, evaluate and use visual information, displayed in a variety of media, within library exhibitions. Students recognize and interpret creative expression in visual imagery.

2. Students use library exhibitions to gain knowledge of, understanding of, appreciation for, and sensitivity to diverse peoples and cultures. Students use library exhibitions to gain awareness of the environment in which they live and an understanding of their own responsibility as global citizens.

3. Students identify library exhibitions as a resource for acquiring academic and practical knowledge.
